Miami Beach Gay Pride brings together members of the LGBT community, their friends and supporters in a celebration of spirit and culture.
Miami Pride was founded by former Miami Beach Mayor, Matti Bower as an initiative of the Miami Beach Gay Business Development council. It is a non profit organisation which runs free, safe, quality events that are open to all, including the parade, expo and official Miami Beach Gay Pride events.
Year by Year
2009 - Miami Beach Gay Pride is established by former Miami Beach Mayor, Matti Bower, as an initiative of the Miami Beach Gay Business Development Council and brings together an estimated 15,000 spectators
2011 - The hugely successful event in 2011 attracted more than 40,000 people
2012 - More than 60,000 people from all walks of life, all parts of the country, and all age groups. The hugely successful event in 2011 attracted more than 40,000 people
2013 - An estimated 80,000 attended the 2013 event which attracted not only South Floridians, but also visitors from throughout the world. In addition to Parade spectators, The 5th Annual event included 66 parade entries and 1,200 participants. The Pride Festival which followed featured 125 LGBT-friendly vendors and businesses, plus refreshments, two stages of entertainment, a family-friendly play area and fireworks.

Talk about “Fun in the Sun” … for the second year in a row, Miami Beach Gay Pride presents a Beach Party like you’ve never seen. This FREE party features sun, surf, sand, international DJs, and, of course, cocktails! Hit the beach to hear the sounds of DJ Deanne followed by Masterbeat DJ Brett Henrichsen.
